The efficient functioning of a gutter system is crucial for several reasons. The primary role of gutters is to rapidly channel water away from the entire roof area, safeguarding the structure against moisture or flooding. Gutters are among the most heavily utilized components of a building. They must handle rainwater, melting snow, and various debris that may collect in them. Constantly exposed to harsh weather conditions, gutters are expected to perform optimally and be of the highest quality.
Highland Metal Roofing specializes in distributing and installing these robust gutter systems crafted in Europe, ensuring top performance and durability.

The steel rafter hook is one of the components of our gutter system, which allows for the solid mounting of gutters. It attaches the gutters to the roof rafters durably and very stably, enabling the proper expansion of the gutter system to encompass all building elements.
Rafter Bracket Installation
The steel rafter hook, along with the other elements of the gutter system, creates not only a durable, but also an elegant and universal complement to the roofing. Steel rafter hooks are available in three systems (125, 130, and 150) with a height of H = 240 mm, which allows for the gutter system to be tailored to the actual load-bearing needs of a given building. A sturdy and stable attachment to the rafters is facilitated by a layout of 4 holes with a diameter of 6 mm each.
It is worth mentioning that the steel rafter hook is also characterized by high material elasticity, which further strengthens its properties of high mechanical resistance.

A distinctive feature of the steel rafter hooks, as well as the other components of our steel system, is their high resistance to corrosion (zinc coating along with protective paint) and other adverse weather factors, such as snow sliding off the roof slopes.
Thanks to numerous tests conducted, we know that the load capacity of the rafter hook minimizes the risk of damage to the system and the facade. This is possible due to the application of special production technology, where the construction of individual components is coated on both sides. The steel rafter hook is even covered by a 40-year warranty, which attests to the high quality of all products offered within the gutter system.
Steel gutter cross section
Our high-quality steel gutters are manufactured with four layers of protective coatings to ensure durability and performance. This superior construction includes a zinc layer applied directly to the steel for corrosion resistance. A passivation layer follows, promoting strong adhesion for the subsequent primer layer, which further enhances the anti-corrosive properties and provides a secure bond for the final layer. The organic coating tops off the system, offering ultimate resilience against adverse weather and mechanical damage while also providing the gutter with its aesthetic appeal. The comprehensive coating process is applied to both the interior and exterior surfaces of the gutter, ensuring thorough protection.
