Plan around the property

Location and access

Share the town or lake area and describe seasonal roads, driveway restrictions or unusual access. Highland can discuss whether the project is within its service scope before you make further arrangements.

Coordinating from elsewhere

If you live away from the cottage, mention that at the start. Discuss site access, who will be present and how project decisions and updates should be handled.

The roof and the roofline

Explain what is on the roof now, any leaks you have noticed and whether eavestroughs or downspouts also need attention. Include planned additions or a new build in the conversation.

Profile and finish

Explore the gallery or visualizer to compare the look of different roofs. You can include a saved design in your enquiry without committing to a profile or colour.

Before you get in touch

A few useful answers

Do I need to choose a panel before requesting a quote?

No. Start with your property and the work you need. You can compare profiles and colours with Highland as you plan the installation.

Can I arrange roofing and eavestrough work together?

Yes. Highland offers metal roof installation and eavestrough installation or replacement. Mention both in your enquiry, or contact us about eavestrough work on its own.

Do you work on cottages?

Yes. Highland serves Ontario cottage country, including Muskoka, Haliburton and the Kawarthas. Include the property location and any seasonal-road or access considerations when you get in touch.

Will the colour look exactly like the visualizer?

Screens and lighting affect how a finish looks. The visualizer helps you compare designs; confirm the actual colour with a physical sample before making your final selection. Banff is available in black only.

What should I ask about the installation and warranty?

Ask for the proposed scope, roof preparation, flashing and drainage details, and the applicable material and workmanship terms. The written proposal should make clear what is included for your particular roof.

What information helps you understand my project?

The town or lake area, whether the job is a replacement or new build, the current roof material, and any leaks or drainage issues are useful starting points. You do not need measurements or a chosen profile to begin.
