Soffit & fascia

Soffit and fascia replaced or repaired, finished to match the roof and eavestroughs rather than left to weather on their own.

Soffit and fascia, replaced or repaired

The soffit is the underside of the roof overhang and the fascia is the board the eavestrough hangs from. Both are easy to ignore until something goes wrong, and both are usually the cheapest part of a roof to put right while the crew is already on site. Highland replaces and repairs them as part of a roofing project or as a job on its own.

Why it usually comes up with the roof

Fascia carries the eavestrough, so rotten or bowed fascia shows up as a sagging run of gutter long before anyone looks at the board itself. Soffit carries the intake air for the roof's ventilation, which is the half of the system people forget about. If either is being replaced, doing it while the eavestroughs are off is far less work than coming back to it later.

Finished to match, not just replaced

New soffit and fascia against an old roof and old eavestroughs is a result nobody wants. Tell us what is already on the house and what you are planning to change, so the finish can be coordinated across the roof, the eavestroughs and the roofline rather than left to weather into three different colours.

What to tell us

Where the problem is, which sides of the property are affected, and whether you have noticed anything else at the roofline: staining, a sagging gutter, birds or squirrels getting in, or daylight where there should not be any. Ask about the materials, profiles and colours available for your property when we discuss the work.

Tell us about your property and the work you need. Request a free quote or call to discuss the project.
